Take the Hill

even the small ones

At the end of my running route, there's a short hill. And I do mean short, and not very steep. It's a hill, though, and when you're old and slow like me, it might as well be a mountain. The nice part is there's a split in the road that gives you the option to stay level.

"It sucked."

I was slow, stiff and hurting.

Felt good to take the hill, though.

Cheers to the runners. And to every little hill that feels like a mountain.
